    3D scanned assets are 3D models whose shape, color and texture have been captured from a real-world object using a specific 3D scanning technique.

    Wireshape is the owner, creator and developer of all products in stock, thus preserving the same standard of quality and technique.

  • What's the difference between Extreme Definition and Real-Time collections?

    Extreme Definition standard is indicated for those who need high detail mesh and high definition textures, allowing even extreme closeups. It is especially suitable for Films, TV, VFX and 3D Print. Having 6 sub levels mesh, displacement map and 8-16k textures.

    Real-Time standard is indicated for those who need less dense mesh and lower resolution textures, but likewise keeping its realistic look. It is especially suitable for Games, VR and AR. Having low poly mesh, normal map and 2-4k textures.

  • What's the I Need It collection?

    In I Need It collection there are several objects which are on our waiting list to come into 3D scanned assets stock. When you buy one of the items in this collection, we will inform you the deadline for delivery and then this item will move to the top of our priority list. When ready, we will put this product in stock in the format of a 3D scanned asset ready for use, and you will receive the links to download it in Extreme Definition and Real-Time distribution standard. Please be assured that this item will be licensed to you on a non-exclusive basis.

  • You say the models are ready to use. What does that mean?

    Yes, they are ready for use. This means that all our 3D scanned models are exposed to postcapture process, resulting in assets with cleaned mesh, quad topology, real scale, totally optimized and non-overlapping UV maps. Being delivered in formats that are industry standard.

  • Are the 3D assets based on real-world dimensions?

    Yes, they are all on real-world dimensions.

Search engine contains Sort By feature, allowing you to sort the assets by such criteria as: “Price: Lowest first”, “Price: Highest first”, “Product Name: A to Z”, “Product Name: Z to A”, “Reference: Lowest first” and “Reference: Highest first”.

    If the licensee of the products purchased is your company, yes, you must enter these informations.

  • What are the available payment methods for purchasing?

  • Why is my country not listed in the options to fill out my address?

    If your country is not listed in our Country options list, your country may be subject to economic sanctions with the U.S., or it is unsupported by PayPal. In this case, you will not be able to make purchases until PayPal supports your country or other payment methods are available.

  • How do I download a purchased 3D asset?

    All products are delivered electronically, after confirming your order you will instantly receive email from Wireshape with direct link to download the product. You can also access Your Account -> My Downloads page and choose what product you want to download.

After Purchase

  • How does the Money-Back Guarantee work?

    If a product that you've bought on Wireshape is technically deficient or doesn't look as described and shown in the product preview you can contact Wireshape Support for a resolution. If our team of expert Support staff can't solve the problem for you, we will give you back your money, under the condition that you have notified Wireshape within seven (7) calendar days of the purchase.   • Who owns the rights to the 3D assets I bought?

    Wireshape retains copyright in Products purchased or downloaded by any Customer. When buying one of our 3D assets, Wireshape grants to you a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide right and license to copy, distribute, reproduce, adapt, publicly display, publicly perform, digitally perform, transmit, broadcast, telecast, advertise and create derivative works. The rights granted to you are non-sublicensable, meaning that you cannot transfer or sublicense them to anyone else. You may allow subcontractors to use the assets in any production process related to your final project or end use. These subcontractors and distributors must agree to be bound by the Wireshape Terms and Conditions of Use and may not use the content for any other purpose. If you are purchasing on behalf of your employer or client, then only your employer or client have rights to use the assets.

  • Are the 3d assets available with which license agreement?

    All Wireshape 3d scanned assets are Royalty Free unless otherwise noted. The assets published with this license may not be sold, given, or assigned to another person or entity in the form it is downloaded from the Wireshape website. This means that when you “buy” a Wireshape product with Royalty Free License label, you are acquiring a license to use it. Please see the Royalty Free License Agreement.

  • What does Royalty-Free mean?

    Royalty-free, or RF, refers to the right to use copyright material or intellectual property without the need to pay royalties or license fees for each use or per volume sold, or some time period of use or sales. Please see the Royalty Free License Agreement.

  • How can I use the 3D assets I bought?

    You may use licensed 3D assets in creation of imagery (film, TV, archviz, advertising, illustration…), video games (games, AR and VR experiences, virtual worlds, simulation and training environments), software (user interface, interactive electronic publications) and physical items (3D printed works, articles of manufacture, furniture, toys…) - the physical item in standalone way is limited to personal use, gifts, or charitable donations, with a maximum of 5 instances of such creation per purchase.   • How can I NOT use the 3D assets I bought?

    You may not use the licensed 3D assets: in a pornographic, defamatory, fraudulent, obscene or other unlawful manner, or in violation of any applicable regulations or industry codes; to sublicense, re-distribute, resale, publish or otherwise made available for downloading; in formats that the 3D assets can be opened or imported in a publicly available software application or framework, or extracted without reverse engineering; in any open format, or format encrypted with decryptable open standards (such as WebGL or an encrypted compression archive); in creations that have the general functionality for importing and/or exporting the 3D assets; in artwork based solely on licensed content and claim that you are the author; in a standalone way in connection with "on demand" items (e.g., products in which a image is selected by a third party for customization of such product on a made-to-order basis); in a standalone way in connection with stock media clearinghouse, for example an online marketplace for photography, clip art, or design templates; as part of a trademark, design mark, tradename, business name, service mark, or logo. Unless you purchase a custom license, you may not sell physical items by itself when the 3D assets are untransformed in the creation or the physical item is substantially similar to them.
